The USAR Foundation
The USAR Foundation is a 501 C 3 Non-Profit, Non-Governmental organization based in Memphis TN. Our mission is to strengthen disaster response in Tennessee and other FEMA and SUSAR Task Forces by offering specialized classes and recruiting donated or rescued dogs and partnering them with Task Forces and first responders to find people buried alive in the wreckage of disasters. We offer the professionally trained canines and ongoing rescue training programs to fire departments.

Sarge was found wandering the streets of Memphis Tn. He was very thin and heart worm positive. Now Sarge is a FEMA Type I Urban Search and Rescue Canine.
